The Sierra 25W-40 Catalyst Oil is formulated for modern recreational 4-stroke marine engines, including applications with or without emission catalyst systems. It is approved for all 4-stroke outboard, sterndrive, and inboard engines, and is designed to exceed FC-W and FC-W Cat Compatible requirements for marine performance standards. Engineered for maximum corrosion protection and advanced lubrication, it helps extend engine life while reducing wear under demanding operating conditions. The formulation includes ZDDP anti-wear additive technology to support internal component protection while helping prevent phosphorous depletion and extending catalyst life. It also delivers excellent detergency, oxidation resistance, and low-temperature performance to support cleaner pistons and help prevent ring sticking.
