Okuma has announced the launch of two new rod series designed specifically for the Northwestern salmon market. The X-Troll Rods and X-Troll Hover Rod. These rods are meticulously crafted using state-of-the-art technology and premium materials to ensure unparalleled performance and uncompromising quality.
The X-Troll Rods are specially designed to meet the needs of salmon fishing enthusiasts. The 24- ton moderate tapered carbon rod blanks provide excellent strength and durability. The Ultimate X Reinforced Multi-Directional Fiber Technology (UXR) used in the construction of these rods make them powerful enough to fight the toughest of fish, but sensitive enough to feel the lightest of bites. The double locking SeaGuide Alien reel seat design and SeaGuide deep press frame design protect the guide insert, while the RS SeaGuide inserts offer unmatched hardness. The custom 3-K woven carbon cone grip configuration ensures a comfortable and firm grip.
The X-Troll rods will be comprised of five casting models ranging from nine-foot to ten-foot nine inch. The X-Troll rods will feature a medium heavy, heavy, or extra heavy action depending on the model.
