Ka-Bar Black TDI Law Enforcement Knife 1480 (Rothco 3266). The Ka-Bar TDI Law Enforcement Knife is a compact and effective tool designed for close quarters defense. Featuring a straight edge, non-reflective black powder-coated AUS 8 blade, this knife is built for durability and precision. The drop point blade measures 2 5/16 inches and is set at a 15-degree angle, making it highly effective in extreme close quarters where quick and decisive action is required. The textured ABS plastic handle ensures a secure grip, and the knife can be worn on either the right or left side of the pant belt for convenient access. Designed by John Benner, founder of the Tactical Defense Institute, this knife is an essential tool for law enforcement officers, providing a reliable last defense option. The John Benner designed TDI knife is designed for use in extreme close quarters encounters where a suspect is attempting to take an officer’s handgun, or an officer cannot access his handgun.
