When Henry Perry traveled from Memphis to live in Kansas City in 1907 he brought with him the skills and tenacity to become the father of Kansas City BBQ. In an ode to Perry’s 2nd restaurant establishment in the garment district where he started his famous “free BBQs” Full Boar BBQ brings you 17th and Vine.
While this sauce is not the harshly spicy sauce used by Perry, it is a classic Kansas City flavor that the world has come to love. With a sweet profile, just enough vinegar and smoke, and the tiniest hint of a kick at the end, this is the most compete sauce out there. Enjoy it on all thigs BBQ.
